The sun's sail is a visual and sun protection that is made of a robust fabric- often of acrylic, polyester or HDPE fabric- and is attached to the corner of the house wall, a tree or anching in the floor at the corner points. It serves the shading of terraces, gardens or balconies and protects against wind, rain and curious views. A sun protection sail can also be used as a carport.

It is not without reason that frantable canopies have become increasingly popular in recent years. What fabric variants are there?

First of all, there would be our standard products, which are available in many sizes and in bright but also subtle colors. The canvas consists of either a water -repellent polyester fabric or a breathable polymer tissue. Both fabrics are UV stable and tear and weatherproof. With the breathable variant of fabric you also prevent a heat build -up under the sail.

How do I clean and store my sun sail?

The cleaning of your sun protection sail is very easy. First remove superficial dirt with a soft brush or a microfiber cloth. Then clean the canvas with a little warm soap loute at approx. 30 ° and then wash it off with clear water. Your sun protection has to dry completely before rolling it up - so you avoid mold formation and stick stains. This applies in particular if you want to store your sail over the winter. At the same time, make sure to choose a dry storage room.

Hands away from sharp cleaning agents or high -pressure cleaners. For example, these can damage the water -repellent impregnation of the sail. We also advise against using hard brushes.

What assembly options are there?

Deiwo's sun sail expand the living space of your camp by another meter. It only takes a few minutes to move the keder into the move in, to put the installation rods together and to ensure the clamping lines safely in the ground.

Usually sun sails are attached to the house wall or on the ceiling on one side. The sails are then connected to the wallotous with a crook rope, a carabin hook or a tensioning lock. You can then mount the other side of the sun sail on a tree, on a metal mast or on a sail bar. To fasten, you optimally use a tensioning lock at three corners to bring the sun sail to tension and possibly be able to readjust. A carabiner or a crook rope can then be used on the fourth corner. Pay attention to at least 10 cm in the ground while setting up the sail bars.
